Whether protection of people and their property is required against mother nature or against human threat, DG41 can offer durability and security to the laminated glass panes used, since it combines the advantages of a "regular" membrane, such as UV protection, transparency and soundproofing.

DG41 is a rigid (100 times more rigid than the "regular” membrane) and durable membrane (300 MPa shear modulus versus 3 MPa that of the "regular” one), specifically designed for applications where increased construction rigidness and high adhesion of the laminated glass pane are required.

This safety glazing membrane provides superior performance in structural constructions as compared to the "regular" membrane, since smaller glass thickness is required in order to achieve the respective structural performance (load resistance), thanks to its rigidity. It also helps retain the structural integrity of the laminated glass and, by extension, of the construction to which it is incorporated.
